My Loungewear Favourites
Ever since becoming a mum loungewear has become a personal ‘must have’ wardrobe essential for me. As I am home a lot with my little one, it is practical for me to have an array of comfortable yet some what presentable clothing that I can easily wear around the house and outside if I need to nip out for anything. There is nothing more satisfying than slipping into your comfies as soon as you come home. It feels like an instant stress reliever and I love feeling cozy and warm in my home. But just because it is nice to be comfortable doesn’t mean you need to look like you just got out of bed. I may be home a lot but i still want to look and feel pretty, even if it is just my son and a few other mums who see me. So after surviving the beast from the east and living in my loungewear for the last week. I thought I would share with you My Loungewear Favourites.
JOGGERS & YOGA PANTS
I totally love Jack Wills Joggers. I had never heard of Jack Wills before I came to the UK. They were not that prevalent in France nor in Australia, but I am glad I found them. I previously used to buy cheaper alternatives that were your basic joggers. However I found that they often made me look heavier than I was and i felt self conscious going out in them. These Jack Wills Joggers are really comfy and have a nice fit to them with the added bonus of being quite stylish. They are great for wearing around the house and good enough to be worn outside if needed.
I previously owned two other pairs of Jack Wills Joggers but I wore them so much they got holes in them.
SWEATSHIRTS
I love love love this sweatshirt. I have had my eye on the Selfish Mother range for ages but never actually bought one until recently. Though it is simple, these shirts have become iconic in the parenting world. I had a hard time choosing which one I wanted as they come in different colours with different words and slogans. My favourites were ‘Mother’, ‘Winging It’ and ‘MAMA’ but eventually decided that MAMA was the best one for me.
NOTE: I am giving away one of these amazing sweatshirts to one of my readers to celebrate mothers day. All you need to do is the following.
