The sun has been shining in Scotland for the last few days and Gabriel and I have been loving it. Trips to the park and long walks have been crammed into our schedule. Scotland’s weather is so unpredictable that I am scared that this good weather will be jinxed and it will be back to cloudy rainy days in a blink of an eye. That said, I love the cold weather too, mostly because of all chic cosy fashionable options that I was never privy to in Australia.
As the weather has been heating up I have been finding myself more and more eager to update my wardrobe. However the thing about April and May is that it blows very hot or cold. Just when you think that you can pack away all of your winter jumpers and coats. The weather turns again and you find your self at work in a your cute summery top wishing you were wearing your woolly jumper. It has happened to me too many times to count.
So what can you do? You are sick of wearing dark wintery colours and the same old jumpers and jeans. You are craving summer but the weather is just not summer dress worthy yet. That is where a transitional summer wardrobe comes in handy. Tops and shirts in lighter colours. Light airy jumpers and jackets with skinny jeans and midi skirts.
Embroideries and blush pastel colours seem to be whats in at the moment and I love it. So I have put together a list of some of my favourite fashion picks in stores at the moment.
Transitional Summer Wardrobe Picks
So there you have it. Some of my favourite picks for May. I cannot wait to stop shopping. What are some of your favourite trends at the moment?
