Ever since I was a young girl I have always been conscious about what I put on my skin or in my body. I remember thinking that we consume all of these man made things full of chemicals but neglect what the earth gives us. Something inside of me always told me that the more closer to nature my products were the better they were for my health, as well as my appearance.
As a teenager I suffered from really bad skin. I mean shiny, pizza, borderline crater face bad! It was grotesque and made me very self conscious about my skin. A good thing to come out of it though was that I learnt from a young age to look after my skin properly and not to use any old product. I have tested thousands of brands and formulas whether they be organic, non organic, over the counter, prescription, designer or supermarket brands, and I have to truly say that the less chemical nonsense in the ingredients, the better. Suffering from eczema, as well as acne it was super important for me to use more natural and organic products. I could feel the difference straight away, one slip up and it resulted in itchy eyelids and tight skin.
But there are so many so called organic and natural products out there, which one should I use? I have used a few over the years such as Dr Haushka, Neals Yard, Burts Bees and KORA and as they all have their qualities my favourite by far is KORA Organics. Founded by Aussie model Miranda Kerr, I was sceptical at first. Is this just another celebrity launching a beauty product just to make a quick buck? but after investing in her three step cleansing plan I was surprised at how good the products were.
My skin felt instantly soft and the mist and moisturiser had a calming effect that seemed to make my skin glow. After this first trial I decided to try some more products and I fell in love with them. I no longer wear foundation when I leave the house, I now use their tinted moisturiser that evens out my skin tone perfectly and it is very light weight.
1.Just washed face, no make up 2.Dabbed Kora Organics Tinted Moisturiser 3.Even toned, light weight skin!
100% made in Australia with certified organic and natural ingredients, KORA offers a large range of products from cleaning creams, to exfoliators and shower gels. The only downside is that their products are quite expensive and quite difficult to get when you live outside of Australia. They have their products available online from their website http://www.koraorganics.com, and from netaporter.com but the shipment charges from their website are way too high and the conversion prices on netaporter.com compared to in store in Oz is ridiculous!
Brushed brows, Kora Organics tinted moisturiser and come lip gloss! No need for foundation anymore!
I guess I will be buying in bulk every time I go back home, as for me nothing beats KORA.
